About me:
..
..
..
..
001. My name's Megan. I'm apt to speak in a fair Joyce-ian manner, jumbling my thoughts and spewing in writing whatever pops out of my brain. However, I stake no claim to possessing even 1/64 of the talent Mr. Joyce made known in his stream-of-consciousness works. He still maintained a method; I'm just crazy. 002. I'm a big dork; I love funny movies and fart jokes. There aren't enough hours in one day to do all I wish. Occasionally a reflective mood will smack my brain around a bit and I'll wonder why the bird flies so freely and I cannot just hop on a boat and sail to Europe. Or ponder the consistency of peanut butter. Or wonder who really invented sliced bread. Or why can't I remember what I had for dinner last night? 003. I just mainly traipse around Los Angeles and its environs. MacGyver is my darling kitty who keeps me company. I'm keen on attending live concerts, going out for coffee and pie and hanging out with my friends.
Who I'd like to meet: The friends I already know, the friends I'm hoping to meet very soon, Tim Burton, W.B. Yeats, Wes Anderson, fairies, the Muse boys, Oscar Wilde, God, Megatron, robots, Johnny Depp, folks who will show me the world in different lights, Charles de Lint, poets, Terry Pratchett, The Monty Python men, Mika, Leonardo da Vinci, those who remember Freakazoid, Jane Austen, Neil Gaiman, Joss Whedon, people who love shiny things, Eddie Izzard, the person who invented concealer makeup; and fellow admirers of music, poetry, snark, sarcasm, wit and hilarity.
..
Wanna come with me to see Ellis Paul on 11/8/08? He's playing @ McCabe's in Santa Monica. Tixs are 17.50. I thought it would be fun. Let me know if you are interested. He's on my flist if you don't know who he is. I know it's really early but I have wanted to see him for awhile. Hope all is well.
Happy Birthday Megan, I hope you had a fabulous day with your friends and family. hope you like daisy, she can be cool. Well awesome birthday cake you had! Hope it was as good to eat as it looked!
LMAO! Holy Fart! *laughs* MIKA is AWESOME! Also I gots my mac by applying for a juniper card which also gave me credit on iTunes. ;) just thought I would let you know.
Just a wee heads up my Dell crashed 2xs on me in the span of 14mos. So I ended up getting a Mac which has crashed once in 7mos. Just be warned. I had to apply for a juniper card in order to get my Mac.
OMG So I'm about 150 pages into the Twilight sequel, New Moon, and about 148 of those pages consisted of Bella whining. So yeah. You heard right. But yet I'm still reading the freaking thing. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???
