The Happy Medium are a 3-piece alt.rock/reggae outfit hailing from Kilkenny, Ireland and have been together since October 2005, starting out as a duo before completing the original lineup in late November of 2005. The band have gone from strength to strength and developed a unique and original flavour to their music encorporating strong Reggae and ambient elements to their style. Now a 3-piece outfit, the band are currently recording and producing The Happy Medium EP, due for release late in 2006.
The Happy Medium are Ken McGuire (vocals / guitar), Alan Dawson (vocals / drums) and Thomas Flood (vocals / bass). Drawing on influences like Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Jethro Tull, Steel Pulse and more, they've created their own unique blend of music and garnered quite a following in their short time.
