About me:
I was raised in Dallas Texas to always be honest and respectful to everyone no matter how they treat me! I am the youngest of four, raised by a real estate agent and a hard working sub remodeling contractor, and still have never forgot the lessons of my youth no matter where my paths lead across the globe.
I live with my step-mom Margaret who has taught me their is literally nothing I can't do. My father Walt who has fallen down time after time but still gets back up on his feet to show me never to give up. My brother just moved to California to pursue his music career, I think I teach him more than he teaches me, LOL. My Step sister got her bachelors in science from UTA, and is goin to UTH to get her Masters. My step brother got his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at UND, where he was stationed in the USAF and is now working for NASA in Huntsville Alabama. I have and incredible family who is always there through the ups, downs, lefts, and rights. Trust me, we have been through every direction.
Growing up in my family, you never questioned that you were loved. We were given responsibilities early and we had very simple rules: don’t lie and don’t say, ‘I can’t.’ The only way we got a disciplined punishment off our mother and father was if we lied. Their other big thing was respect for all. Very early on, they were always talking about the respect for everyone. When you hear that from your parents, you listen. It’s something that’s just been ingrained, and I’m fortunate to have had that. They would always say ‘Don’t lie. You’re going to screw up, but don’t lie!’ They taught us that you should be able to arrive at any room, and not have to look over your shoulder about unfinished business. ‘No’ was also just as important as ‘Yes’. Disagreeing was much harder than agreeing.
Choosing the wrong paths in early life, I stopped goin to school and started selling drugs. While not realizing how big of a regret it was, I thought I was on top of the world. A few months after I unenrolled out of school it hit me, not having any respect from anyone and job hunting like it was my only option, I finally realized my mistake.
After my step brother graduated from the United States Air Force, I saw how good he had it. He told me "nothin is easy, work hard to get on top." I did'nt want to get on top, I wanted to be on top. So I went to a recruitment office, they told me to get my GED... I got it. Now my journey begins...
I’m a man who greatly prefers commas to periods in order to keep life fluid so, now and always, just keep livin, I beleive in one God, I feel that music makes the world go round, money is the most worthless thing to me, family is priceless! Their are lessons to be learned daily and memories to never forget. Be thankful for the past but dont look at it like you should tommorrow!
