| General | If I told you I enjoy the opera and fine dining, I would be so lying! (at least about the opera part).
However, I do enjoy going to the movies, and a good book, a nice restaurant every now and again, but prefer the out-of-the-way, nook and cranny, restaurants, and if i may, if you're in Nashville, do not eat at La Fuente' on murfreesboro road, we had a visitor at the table the other day, and it wasn't the waitress ('nuff said). Of course, if you are familiar with the Nashville area at all, you know the best hamburgers in town are found at Fat Mo's (unsolisitated and non-compenstated opinion).
I have been known on more than one occasion to have 24 hour CSI marathons (i own all the seasons), and sit for hours on end playing video games, yes, yes, i know, mind-numbing and useless, but entertainment none-the-less. | | Music | I try very hard to find something i enjoy in all genres of music, but i have yet to find any entertainment value in rap, otherwise, i really enjoy classic rock, new age, jazz, all types of blues (SRV rules), and even a few of the new bands (matchbox 20, nickleback, audioslave, etc.) Be sure to check out my Radio Widgets for Yahoo, they are the bomb! | | Movies | Beowulf in IMAX 3D was off the hook boyyyyeeee!
While it did not stay true to the orginal poem, it was none-the-less awesome - besides, who doesn't want to see an animated Angelina Jolie in gold body paint?! | | Television | I really enjoyed Buffy and Angel both when they were on.
Of course, CSI, and the incarnations of same (Miami and NY), the original is still the best!
Bones is awesome, and if I ever needed a doctor with an attitude, Greg House is the one I would choose, that has got to be the best new show in a long time.
Thanks to my long-time friend and recently turn wife, Cynthia, she has turned me on to Law & Order, my favorite being the Criminal Intent spin-off.
And in turn, I introduced her to Jack Bauer (24) and Sydney Bristow (Alias)
The first 4 seasons of ER were the best. and what happend to Third Watch? - and of late, I know, I know, so sue me, but yes, I actually like the new Bionic Woman. | | Books | Who has time to read, I'm back in school now (lol) | | Heroes | My mother, who crossed-over (oct 24th 2005), taught me that if you do the right thing, no matter the situation, you will always come out ahead, she was raised a simple country girl, with basic ideals and beliefs, which she, inturn, passed on to me. She taught me to open doors for ladies, say "yes m'am" and "no sir", take my hat off when i walked inside, she taught me the value of a dollar, to always save for a rainy day, and if you meet someone that had just come in from the rain, give them your dollar, the lord will give you back two. I know that if i failed to follow any of her "rules", she would still come back here and hit me in the head with a biscuit. Thank you mother, i love you very much. |

About me:
She Said "Yes" on December 17th, so we were married on July 14th 2006, it was a Friday and the moon was right and we spent the next week in Cancun, very sha-weet! The song you are now hearing is the by the Native America blues/rock band Indigenous, if you love SRV, KWS, BB King, and the like, you will love these guys - they effin' rock!
For all you peps that know CiCi, she my daughter and I'm a very very protective daddy ('nuff said). I am an American by birth, Southern by the grace of God!
Born and raised in Nashville, very proud of my southern heritage.
I am not a bigot, or a racsist by any means, I am just proud of my heritage, just as many blacks wear the colors of thier "mother-land", i fly the southern flag as a symbol of heritage, not hate, and pride not prejudice.
I am also a wiccan/pagan, NO i don't worship the devil, and yes, i believe in god and christ, but also believe that god/godess works thru nature and we should show respect and love thru all things, and just to confuse you even further, i throw a buddah and the Virgin Mary into the mix as well.
Update: We've been married over a year now, and she hasn't killed me yet, however, I'm pretty sure if she comes to her senses my days will be numbered. Thank you for loving me Cynthia, I adore you.

Anyone and everyone, I like everyone till they give me a reason not to.
I'm just here it meet new people of like-minded ideas and values, and possibly some people that just totally go against everything thing i believe, there's nothing like a good-spirited debate to open up new ideas and maybe even cause one to think on occasion.
