I'm just a young man with big dreams. I was born from the womb of my mother, Marie A. Steinberg and my father, unknown, in the state of New Jersey. Early on in life, I was the subject of many psychological tests, which only showed people that I was really creative, I suppose. My "lone wolf" personality in school made people think that I was a cool guy not to be messed with, and everybody pretty much avoided me. In middle school, I picked up an album titled "He's The DJ, I'm the Rapper" that taught me how to express myself through the musical form known as hip-hop rapping. I immersed myself in 'hop culture, and began writing and performing my own original songs in subway trains and airports, usually on the weekends.
I have been featured as a frequent guest on The Best Show on WFMU (Tom rules) and The Jake & Jackie show on Free FM. I also hosted the CMJ special of NYCTV's New York Noise, and have interviewed several "indy" musicians. Sometimes I get so sad that I just cry for hours. You can also catch me in the upcoming film, Steinjive!
While I wait for Mr. Opportunity to come a-knockin' at my proverbial door (I'm currently not living anywhere in particular), I will continue to do my thang at the dolla stow, and try to battle my peyote addiction, and climb that mountain called "insomnia." Until then, I'll do my best to show all of you Steinbergers how to have fun, STEINBERG STYLE.
MC Steinberg...your performance was amazing. You've got yourself alot of new fans, & they're hungry for more steinberg! Thanks so much for coming out - i'll see ya around!

i just watched most of your interviews and i laughed well. i think everything you do would be equally as significant and good if you didn't have that fake nerdy accent though.
