Music
Sufjan Stevens. I imagine him wearing a tin foil hat and waiting for Jesus to come crashing through the roof of his Brooklyn apartment in a massive ball of fire at any moment. Meanwhile, he sings odes to the great state of Illinois whilst accompanying himself on his banjo. How romantic. Slouching will take us both before our proverbial time!
I love The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, the joyful noises my friends make and anything with an accordian and a banjo and weirdness.
Movies
Driving Lessons, Head (The Monkees Movie), Moulin Rouge!, Amelie, Anchorman, The Wizard of OZ, the original Star Wars trilogy, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter series, 10-minute workout DVDs, various 9/11 conspiracy DVDs I've been handed at bars
Television
THE MONKEES! The greatest television show EVER!!!
I also love Saturday Night Live, Sunday Night Live with Father Groeschel, Most Haunted, cable news and the Catholic channel.

About me: I'm a twenty-something Midwestern-girl-gone-East-Coast (and back again ... for now!) chasing God and adventure, a career in the media ... and a rock with a broom.
I'm kind of a big deal. People know me ...
Which Anchorman Are You? Brick Tamland I'm Brick Tamland. People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream, and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later, a doctor will tell me that I have an I.Q. of 48 and am what some people call "mentally retarded." You're Brick Tamland! Polite and honest, you are a great friend to have around.
For more "About Me," I blog on Xanga (address available upon request) and have profiles here on MySpace, where you can read most of my recently published works (including the stories behind the stories and, yes, some surveys), and on Facebook (friends only ... sorry).
Who I'd like to meet: YOU, of course! You're welcome to join my MySpace man harem, but I probably won't add your band and almost definitely won't date you. No offense.
I also did a little "I love Billy Squier" research. He is MUCH better looking at the ripe age of 58. He almost looked like Eric Clapton as a youngster. Which leads Billy to strike number 2: Apparently, he is or was all about the Eric Clapton. I feel that's unnecessary at this stage of our relationship. He really should have mentioned that before we fell in love. Anyway (sigh), I'm about to add some sweet Billy tunes to my MySpace player...Billy S. that is, not Billy J.
Sweet beats, man. Sweet beats. It was like Wayne's World marathon all weekend!! Did you see it?!?! I forgot how incredibly random that movie is! Awesome.
Also, I was at Walgreens, and I bought Mighty Putty. Have you ever seen those infomercials??? I want Brian to break something so we can use it! It appears to be amazing!
Emily Mc-I-don't-want-to-say-your-full-name-in-case-of-stalkers! I posted Florida pics!! I still need Brian's though. All my pics are of him and all his pics are of me :) And, next, I need to take pics of our adorable house! It's soooo homey right now. Like a nest! Oh, AND, you need to add "Bohemian Rapsody" to your playlist. I feel like that is your song. I don't know why. Maybe because it's a random sweet beat. And, you are definitely a random sweet beat :)
This pic is from Jimmy Buffet. Brian has all the pics on his MySpace. That guy behind me was like super drunk and he kept flirting with mom. He had like one of those life saving thingies around his neck. I think he eventually got thrown out.
Good call...I often use inappropriate quotation marks along with too many exclamation points!! :) The implication of those quote marks were because I don't feel like a model and I don't want to appear snooty because a few pics were snapped of me by a friend! That obviously wasn't a good way to phrase it!! Yikes! So then...purely, I was the subject matter of several photos?!?! Does that sound better? You are the wordsmith/guru of phraseology....what would you suggest?!!? After all you are the hill-billy scrabble champion (even though I hate to admit defeat!!)
Why thank you!! I "modeled" for a friend last year...he took a bunch of photos to help him learn about his camera and he was also designing a video game and wanted some stills so he could work on the animation...anyway...this was one of the shots that he worked on and I finally am seeing them!! I am rarely in front of the camera without making some stupid face...so I thought I would put this pic on so I could keep up with all the hotness of the my space club kids!! Your shot has a major degree of hot-ness as well you know!!! :)
Hey! How are you!?! I am actually on my space and wanted to say hello! I don't feel like I've gotten to talk to you much lately and wondered what's new! So, if you got time! I may check my account again in the next week or two!! :) Love ya!
Venture rules. It was like an "ADventure" every time! I remember being like 12 and wanting light up shoes. I was too old by then. That's what I meant. Plus they were very boyish at the time.
