About me: Let's see . . . I have many interests and do a lot of stuff in my spare time. One of my favorite activities is looking thru my Canon 40D lenses. Photography lets my creative juices flow. Accounting doesn't do that!
My husband and I met thru my bestest friend, Diana. I enjoy golfing but don't play as much as I used to.
I also have combined my astronomy hobby with photography. I've taken some fun photos of the sky, the moon and some planets (check out my slideshow/pics). I've got a lot more practice to do but so far it's fun. Oh, I am really starting to enjoy barbershop quartet music. Hey, don't call me a geek! It's just the best to listen to and hear all 4 parts to the harmony - especially GOOD harmony. I got to hear the Interstate Rivals in concert and they just rocked the house. Check out some of my new friends. Vocal Spectrum won the 2006 International Competition. They are so smooth! I hope you have a great 2008 along with me.

Who I'd like to meet: Kenny Chesney, Jack Nicklaus, Oprah, Will Smith, John Travolta, Keanu Reeves, Freddy Couples, Morgan Freeman, Alton Brown, Paula Dean, great barbershop quartets and choruses
ah, i just finished the last page in my 384 page history book! I read the entire thing over the last three and a half weeks. tomorrow is my last day of lecture and the final exam is on thursday :) then i start american literature next tuesday.
I just wanted to stop by and say hi though. I know it has been unseasonably warm over there, i just hope you guys are still able to enjoy the pleasantness of the sun( it doesnt shine on you guys as many days as it does here).
I hope your work week is going good and that you are looking forward to this weekend. i am not sure what jeff and i are doing, nothing planned as of right now. Some of my friends are traveling to be with their families, so we might go see that movie about that robot wall-e. it looks so cute! I might drag jeff on a hike if the weather permits on saturday :)
yeah, my big butt looks good in that knit dress but the top doesnt fit :( I had never worked with knits before and it didnt sew very easy around the neck edge and armhole... so it is all stretched out and stuff. BUt i learned from it, so that is what is important!
thanks i really loved the military inspiration idea. I am actually thinking of making another dress with the same style at the top but much more fitted down to the knees. Then with a garrison military hat, long gloves, and these great vintage shoes i will have the neatest outfit/costume.
well the quiche had to cook for about 45-50 minutes at 375. it had a good flavor, but was a little soggy in the middle. I think there was more moisture in there then i wanted. we ate around the outside and left the very center.
not too bad, definitely will tweak it a little bit next time i try to make it again. :)
well i am going to go and work on my homework in front of the boo tube.
