HISTORY:
In an too familiar scenario for many young Jewish singles, it’s Christmas Eve and all your non-Jewish friends are with their families sitting around dinner tables anticipating the coming morning and you are all alone, eating Chinese take-out and watching “It’s a Wonderful Life”… again. 21 years ago, when Andy Rudnick, 42 found himself spending another cold Christmas Eve by himself, he realized that he was not alone at all; it turns out that thousands of other young Jewish professionals like himself were at home doing exactly the same thing because nothing is open and there is nowhere to go. So, the Matzo Ball was born. Matzo Ball appeals to all young professionals who are looking for a fun and different event to attend. If anyone has doubted Andrew’s original assertion that this event would fill such a void, it is tough to argue with him now, after over 20 years of packed clubs and satisfied singles. Last year’s event attracted some 10,500 revelers and we’ve sparked over 1,000 weddings!
Is the Matzo Ball only for singles?
No. Matzo Ball is not an exclusive singles event, everyone can go. The Matzo Ball is a great opportunity to go out and have a fabulous evening with a significant other and friends, to network, and to meet new people.
Is Matzo Ball only for Jews?
Not at all. We are inviting people from all nationalities, races and backgrounds.
