About me:
I am a freelance graphic designer specializing in album art, band posters, merch, apparel, etc. My portfolio is on mattspire.com, you are welcome to check it out and email or send a myspace message..I really enjoy working with musicians on a small budget to create something cool and memorable.
Basically its $100 down, plus $90 per piece worked on like the album cover, CD, back cover, etc. There's no money down for the rest.. shirts are generally $50-70 and posters $50-100 depending on what you're looking for.
I'm an artist at the Blue Elephant on 5th and Market. I try to discover the most disgusting things possible and make them pretty. Pretty much all my art deals with drugs and sex and violence, proven time and again to be a more basic human need than, say, food or sleep. My own work anyway. Most of what i do for bands is so clean and innocent. really.
I'm also a musician in the process of assembling a band and will hopefully be putting on shows or at least have some material recorded by this summer. If you are a musician in whatever capacity and interested in collaborating on Radiohead-esque.. indietronica-esque... stuff... then let me know.
Uh here is some of my art which was made by a computer, the computers do not seem to allow things made by my dirty analog hands to get online, they send suicide signals to cameras and scanners.
