I could be described as a singer/guitarist (I would say singer-songwriter but I hate that term) and have been playing for as long as I can remember. I'm 22 and I live in Queens Park in London but come from Surrey. I spend a lot of time writing songs, sleeping and playing gigs amongst other things. The rest of the time is spent working as a sound engineer for various people and doing the occasional bit of session work.
I've written and recorded two solo E.Ps and am in the process of laying down some more. The songs above are a selection of these recordings and are unmastered. If you would like a copy of the properly polished versions, you can purchase a CD from the link below. Alternatively, the songs can be downloaded from iTUNES or bought from SISTER RAY RECORDS (previously known as Select-a-Disc) in Berwick Street, London, W1.
Before becoming a singer-songwriter (ahhh!!!), I was in numerous bands, most notably with Moonunit, a strange mix of Smashing Pumpkins and Pink Floyd. We played a lot of gigs, recorded four E.Ps and did a Radio 1 session but we split a few years ago. I have also been known to dabble in electronica from time to time.

After 18 months of songwriting thrills, spills, chilled drinks and temperamental strange beautiful mentalist Shelley like waif and stray musicians baring their warm hearted souls at weekly music night ’Myspace or Yours’. The folks from SONGWRITERS ANONYMOUS are kickstarting a monthly residency at The Vibe Live with a showcase for the acts they’ve nominated for this years Indy Music Awards.
Smoke Feathers have been invited to play at the INDY Music Awards media launch and short list announcement party on Wednesday April 2nd 7pm at the Rock Garden, Covent Garden, London.
It’s no guarantee that we have been shortlisted for the final, but we hope it is a good sign....
