| General | I like walking, hiking, gardening, swimming, and photography. I also love watching football (Denver Broncos, CSU Rams, Poudre Impalas), and collegiate wrestling (I even know how to keep score!). Music, reading, movies, message boards, where does the time go? | | Music | Classic rock is probably my first love. But I'm not stuck in the 70s. I like a lot of the same stuff my kids do, particularly alternative rock, and things you'd hear on KCSU or KTCL. Other kids of music (classical, celtic, KUNC's "diverse music") I can only take in small doses. Some country is OK, depending on the artist. There's nothing like live music, though--if there's a free concert, I wanna check it out. | | Movies | Comedy and action! My favorite movie is "True Lies" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Tm Arnold--but I like almost anything with Arnold in it. :D Other faves include Happy Gilmore, Old School, and Freaky Friday. | | Television | I'm a TV junkie from way back. When I was a kid, and there were only 3 channels, I had the whole TV schedule memorized. We didn't need a TV guide. There's lots of shows I like; I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. My current can't miss shows are Survivor (blush), Desperate Housewives, and LOST. But I also watch The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, The Daily Show, The Today Show, What Not to Wear, Myth Busters, and Orange County Choppers when they're on (this list will probably get longer as I think of other shows I like :p). |
