Okay - so, I totally pimped you out tonight ... one of my friends in LA was asking for a pile of reccomendations for his next pile of "must-reads" for when he relaxes with cookies and milk.

At the top of the list were "How I Paid for College" and "Attack of the Theater People" because they? are so damn fun and funny!

(who knew models ate, let alone read, haha - jk)

Hey Marc,

Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes. My girlfriend and I are actually reading your book together right now. Well, not at this very second, but you get the point. It's hilarious. Thanks again.

Oh no... that was just for my summer break. I'm back and better than ever. Life is fabulous, which is a nice change from last year. But I will admit not having you in the tri-state area is mildly depressing.

Hey Marc! You were great on AM Northwest this morning... even though half the show was cut because of McCain's VP announcement.
You inspired me to try something new everyday too!

So I had a copy of "Attack of the Theater People" laying around back stage at my theater, and one of the performers picked it up and examined the back cover. He tracked me down excitedly and said "I am so sold on this book! How is it? You must tell me! I need to read this! I'm buying a copy for my flight back!" And then he started asking other people after the show if they had read the book, and I was happy to find that a few of them have.
Yes, you do have fans in the midwest!

I'm one of those readers who, the more they enjoy something, the slower they go. I don't know, I just want to make books I love last forever, I guess.

So right now, I'm only about a third of the way through. But I'm thoroughly enjoying every word.

My my, you certainly know how to make a girl happy.
Especially since I've spent the waking moments of today (being midnight to four AM) reading Theater People.

Maguire pops onto my profile page a few times a day. You are SO busted!

Thanks for your honesty. A wise friend once told me "life is too short to read bad books," so this one may be kicked to the curb pretty soon.

I've got a Phillip Roth locked and loaded.
