Malkah began life as a small child in Seattle -- upon reaching adulthood, she moved to Denver for a few years. She has recently returned to Seattle, after driving a very long while.
She enjoys playing in many genres, acoustic and electric, delicate and loud. But always tuneful and catchy, with lyrics both concrete and evocative.
Teaming up with Greg Flint (Mighty Shiny, Fullrotor), Malkah now embarks on a new project, Mountain Kids Fantasy.
"Things You Say" is from the new Mountain Kids Fantasy project - more on the Mountain Kids Fantasy MySpace page. "Evangeline" and "Barge Song" are from Malkah's "Evangeline EP", recorded with John Bisagna at The Shack.
