Hey guys, love to have as many fellow musicians and local bands as possible come and hang with us on thursday (we all know getting crowds on a Thursday can be dicey sometimes) at Cary Street Cafe. Definitely dig the music, and hope you can come. Hope all is well and keep rockin. Matt
Hey Maki. Chris Campbell here, the bass player from the Silver Bullet Band. Was just hangin' out with Will, diggin' your tunes. Keep up the good work--hope to catch you somewheres on down the line (and deep in the pocket).
Christopher Cross uses Tom Anderson electric guitars, Taylor acoustic guitars, Divided by Thirteen and Line 6 amps, and Elixir strings. And Yamaha something-or-others. Keyboards, I assume.

MPP is the largest marijuana policy reform organization in the United States. Founded in 1995, MPP works to minimize the harm associated with marijuana -- both the consumption of marijuana and the laws that are intended to prohibit its use. MPP believes that the greatest harm associated with marijuana is prison. To this end, MPP focuses on removing criminal penalties for marijuana use, with a particular emphasis on making marijuana medically available to seriously ill people who have the approval of their doctors.
MPP doesn't encourage marijuana use. But our failed marijuana laws cost taxpayers billions of dollars a year, keep police from focusing on real crimes, and fail to keep marijuana away from kids. We believe it's time for a new approach-- taxation and regulation.

Calling All Progressive Virginians: Oppose Imperialism and Queen Elizabeth’s visit to Richmond
We are calling all Virginians who opposed the colonialism, imperialism, and racism that the monarchy represents to rally in opposition to her visit. Please join us in a convergence demonstration at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 3rd in front of the Richmond City Hall at 900 E. Broad Street across from the General Assembly Building. From there we will be moving in mass as close as possible to the actual site of the “celebration,” most likely remaining outside of the security checkpoint.
We are gathering to also oppose the current state of imperialism, neo-colonialism, sexism, racism, homo/bi/transphobia, and xenophobia perpetuated by the United States, Britain and other Western powers. This is in addition to the undeniable fact that Jamestown’s founding was predicated on the genocide of Native Americans and the enslavement of African Americans. Of course, there are more problems with this “Celebration of Colonialism” than can be named in this article. Feel free to bring your own personal points of contention to this demonstration.
Feel free to bring signs, noise makers, and megaphones to attract attention to the demonstration. Please be aware that parking will be heavily restricted in this area so you may want to consider the GRTC or prepare to park and walk into the area. Also, if you choose to go through the security checkpoint onto Capitol S
