The Band has completed writing its first full length album. However with some members having moved on the band will be take some time off before going back into the studio and recording.
I'm sure everyone Is going to want a time frame for how long of a "break" we are going to be taking. unfortunately only time will tell. I can assure you when we do come back off this break we will be better and stronger than ever. We may not have all the same members but we will still have the same heart. Members come and go. Its sad but that's life.

makeshifte began with a completely different roster, and now, with the new team, they are stronger than ever. Everyone in the band is skilled at more than one instrument. With a divers musical background, Allowing a vary unique writing style. Its easy to see makeshifte is a band that can do anything they set their minds to.
As of summer 2005, makeshifte has created a buzz all around the US. With small acoustic tours under their belt, being voted Musicians Choice in the 94.5 (Clear Channel) Texas Buzz Awards, playing shows with Trapt, Hawthorne Heights, SXSW, and winning battle of the bands to play select Warped Tour dates, makeshifte has only begun.
