About me:
We are the official site of MGHS (Maine Ghost Hunters Society). We are dedicated to the study of paranormal activity of all sorts. Our passion mainly lies in the area of [Ghostly] phenomena. We thought that a club web site would be a great way to organize a charter, keep members informed, and attract a broader audience by introducing ourselves to the community. Also check out our website Maine Ghost Hunters Society. We'll use this site to inform people about our club, share ideas, and organize events and activities. You are welcome to join our club. You don't have to be a resident of Maine to participate. If you would like to become a member, let me know, it will be done.
We do have equipment. We use a non-contact, digital display infrared thermometer. It reads both air and infrared. It can even note the time of the temp change by a built in clock.
We have an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder. It is capable of recording high-audio quality from up to six meters away and has a capacity of 90 minutes.
The EMF detector we use is excellent. It is by CellSensor. It often yields wonderful results when using the meter in conjunction with cameras, audio and video recorders. For instance, when anomalous EMFs are detected we take photos, record audio, or shoot video in hopes of documenting an anomaly.
The digital camera we use is by FujiFilm and is 8.3MP. It is an incredible camera that has produced great pictures. It also has video capability. ..
Who I'd like to meet: We are looking to meet people that have a passion for exploring the paranormal. We are serious about this and are looking for only serious people to come out on investigations with us. We are also looking for people that are genuinely intrigued by any type of paranormal activity and want to follow our findings and support our work. Any helpful tips, requests or questions will be gladly accepted and answered.

We (my husband and I) were just talking about the Watcher who resides in our house. Generally he (Watcher) stays in the stairway - for the most part. My husband had commented to me that if the Watcher was going to just stand there in the upstairs hallway, my husband would just as soon have the Watcher help with the painting. But but then my husband changed his mind because he didn't think he could deal with seeing a paint roller appearing to be working all by itself.
