About me: I am a Jewish Native American Women,40 and getting better all the time. I am happily married to a wonderful man. We have an old world farm in Arkansas where my husband and I and our 5 kids raise Jacob Sheep, Nubian goats,a pygmy goat,ducks,geese,chickens,turkeys,doves,pigons,quail,peacocks,red-golden pheasants and rabbits along with other assorted critters...lol We have horse for riding and work, we use Elaine our Percheron draft horse to plow and log on our farm and help others to learn this time honored tradition. Nothing is cooler than a women with a big horse..lol Our other horse Sampson is sort of a bum and is just for riding and such. We raise heritage food plants to eat and sell. This year I plan to plant, grow, card and weave colored cotton. In my spare time I like to play guitar, surf the web, read, spin wool and fish and spend time with my husband, kids and friends. My husband and I work a lot together, making goats milk lye soap, old world candies and such as well working as a horseshoers. He is a black smith farrier, I just work here...well that’s what I tell people anyway...lol I help to hold and judge the animals soundness. Our life is like a dream life really. We own our farm out right and have few bills. Right now we are spending a lot of time trying to become more self sufficient and the like and are making small leaps everyday it seems. As side from this both of us are also members of the Ozarks Draft horse club. Up until the last few years I never saw my self working with horses this way, but the work sort of grows on you and the moneys not to bad. The boss (my husband) normally does the horses. I like to trim goats, sheep and the like. My future goal is to trim a zebras feet...so if any one living near by has a zebra in need of a trim give me a call. How I leave my mark on the world. Well it's important to me to leave a mark on the world and I guess I do that with my art and writing... and I teach others how to live a simpler, closer to G-d sort of life.
