Showing a love for reggae, hip-hop and Motown all throughout his life while growing up in Toronto, Madlocks would eventually used his ear for music as a skilled rap producer.
After spending years in the background for artists such as Diemen X, Ghetto Concept, and Michie Mee before scoring his own deal on Beat Factory Records. Madlocks first single "In My Life" would be his solo debut in 1998 before the album Fast Lane was released later on that year. ~ Mike DaRonco
