Maddy Wyatt will never have wisdom teeth.
Her dentist told her it's because she's so highly evolved, but he probably says that to all the girls.
She ran a stop sign during her first driver's test, and took Western Line Dancing to fulfill her high school PE requirement.
Born in Pennsylvania, raised in Colorado, and schooled in Michigan, she's made New York her home for the last 6 years. She spent the past year doing a lot of little things and one big thing, which was working with producer Alex Weinstein (Ten Good Records). What they made is a unique collection of songs that hopscotches over most lines, but goes for the heart with honest simplicity. The album is called Backdive. Ultimately, Maddy thinks music should take care of you, and that's the kind she aims to write.
You just HAD to schedule shows RIGHT before and RIGHT after I leave New York, didn't you? (I'm there from 7/11 to 20). Ugh. Hateful. ;-] I kid, I kid, but really, my luck kind of really sucks.
