Movies like Imitation of Life and Johnny Belinda made me cry like a baby when I was a teenager. I am also a huge action movie nut. My favorites: The Magnificent Seven, Fearless, one of Jet Li's best, also tear jerkers like, Mystic River, and oldies Unforgiven, Fatal Attraction, and well so many more.

Not a tv person like I used to be but old faves were the Simpsons, Married With Children, Seinfeld, Starsky & Hutch and Alias.

LuvDewey Productions actually started a few years ago when I was making an attempt to actually produce a movie. I had no idea how hard it was so this year, I decided to start from a different level. I decided to do what I do best, write.
What is LuvDewey Productions about you ask? It's about a team of friends who have desires to build their hobbies into successes. We all write, we all create. And it becomes a piece of work to share with those who are willing to take us to the next step, production. I couldn't even tell you right now if there are other companies like this. I'm sure we weren't the first and won't be the last. All I do know is that we will succeed. A long time ago they made beautiful, soulful, heart wrenching, mind boggling, pressure rising , thrilling movies. I haven't seen that in awhile. I've seen really great actors get really crappy roles that plumment their popularity levels or their status until they begin to accept whatever comes along, not to be forgotten. There's always going to be someone to succeed the NEXT BIG THING. Just like, you're only as good as the movie you star in. Our goal is to look deep into our minds, and come up with projects that are new, original, and contain some of the quality of the movies of the past. Now everyone has their own opinions, true. But we handle criticism very well.
We come up with treatment ideas and screenplays to make available for producers, directors, agents, and actors who are looking for change and excitement. Now there may be times were the idea may seem familiar. But believe me, after reading the treatment you will see how very different the story is.
Where did the name come from?
LuvDewey Productions came from a very special place. My partners and I shared a loving respect, loyalty, and admiration for a man named Dwayne Johnson. You all know him as The Rock. We've always referred to him as Dwayne, or his family nickname, Dewey when we discuss him. Eight years ago we all met thanks to the talented work and dedication of a special lady who created a website on her own to let fans know of Dwayne's activities, projects, appearances, and hundreds of delicious photos. She also provided us with a forum to talk to each other on. That was in April, 2000, the month after I first heard of Dwayne. And eight years later the site is still kicking strong, and we are like old friends now. We've been through a lot together. We share a lot and all because of our feelings for Dwayne. So with the talented women on the forum, we've all come up with ideas for him to do movies about but we had no outlet for it. Now we do. And we don't write just for him, there are lots of actors, mainly our brothers of color, who find themselves sterotyped in roles they can't get out of. We saw that Dwayne was going through the same thing and amazingly sacrificed a lot to change his appearance for more roles. Still we feel he asn't quite been acknowledged for his many skills and we hope we can offer something to him one day. Meanwhile, we decided to give it a shot and voice our talents on MySpace, where it seems like everybody is going to be noticed. So here we are!!

My favorite people who have helped me through so many trials and tribulations without so much as knowing my name. Dwayne Johnson, Maya Angelou, the Dali Lama, Terry Mcmillan, Maxwell, Enya, Sara McGlauglin, Alicia Keys, and very deep words of 'Common'.
