I'm a total fan girl- I love stupid comedies! Make me laugh! And chick flicks, and teenybopper romances(especially 80's). I'm a huge John Cusack fan- Better off Dead may be my favorite movie. Or Can't Buy me Love- Patrick Dempsey's another supercrush of mine. Of course I love all of the John Hughes films. Other faves: Fight Club, all Kevin Smith movies, all Evil Dead films (Bruce Campbell ROCKS!) Office Space, Go, the Star Wars films, there are just too many to list..
Television
All of the Law & Order shows (Criminal Intent is the best, though cuz I love Vincent D'Onofrio) , My name is Earl, The Daily Show, Miami Ink, L.A. Ink, the O.C. (thanks to my brother and sis in law!). Everybody Hates Chris and Naruto are shows I watch with my son. Trailer Park Boys (why aren't they playing new ones in the U.S.??!!, Degrassi {old & new} I like the Sopranos, Deadwood, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who (new & old),I dig on a few of the reality shows,..and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Oh and Heroes is awesome- LOVE that show. I could go on and on.. I really am a couch potato! Good thing I have Tivo!
Books
I like to read.. whatever I can get my hands on! 1984 by George Orwell is my all time fave.. Anne Rice & Dean Koontz are some authors I like.
I enjoy reading biographies of celebrities and political figures.
I spend alot of time reading self help books, and learning new ways to manage my bipolar disorder, and how to be an advocate for mental health.
Lately, though, I seem to only have time for trashy romance novels.
Michael; my hubby, treats me like the princess I am! He is such a good father to our children, and is the love of my life. I don't know how I ever got along without him. And he makes sure I take my meds! lol
My Mom, Dawn!- she's inspired me in so many ways. She'd do anything for her friends and family (perhaps to a fault!) She's a great listener and has always been my cheerleader!
My Great Gramma Naser- She was a pioneer for women, and accomplished so much in life; I'm sure she'll light up heaven as she lit up all of our lives.
Every person in my family, they each have their own unique gifts to share.

~ I love tattoos & people who have them~ I still hide my tattoos from my in-laws~ I never want to grow up~ I still collect Hello Kitty~ I've lived all over the US!~ I sing when I feel tense~ I'll sing any song that I hear, whether I like it or not~ I don't care who you vote for, but do study politics and VOTE!~ I love sushi rolls, but can't stomach sashimi~ It peeves me when people mispronounce my name over and over (Nissa rhymes with Lisa!)~We're Auburn football fans(Michael's University), but I also root for LSU (my school)~ I learned discipline and advanced electronics while in the Navy but didn't make it out to sea~ I don't swear like a sailor anymore(okay, sometimes I do!), but I say 'poopie' a lot instead~ I speak English, Spanish, and babytalk~ I pray every night at bedtime, but I no longer put my hands together when I do~ I wish my kids wouldn't grow up so quickly~ I'm not nice till I've had my morning coffee~ My kitties are pesky, but adorable~ I want people to learn about the differences in others and appreciate other views~ I know I am loved (by God, my family & my friends), & that's the best feeling in the universe.
