We were the first shop in Washtenaw county to pierce with strictly implant grade, internally threaded titanium. We were the first to offer on site anodizing to give our customers more variety.
We are the only shop in Michigan that uses sterile gloves and practices correct sterile technique with each piercing procedure.
We are one of the two shops in Michigan that own a Sci-can Statim Autoclave.

Initial Piercing Fee
Lobe: $20
Industrial, genital & surface: $40
All Other Piercings: $35
Looking for more than one piercing - the piercing fee for the second piercing is half price and the piercing fee for a 3rd piercing is waived. *This applies if the piercing is on the same person in the same day.*

How our pricing works:
Say you wanted to get both of your ear lobes pierced.
Our Piercing/Sterilization fee for 1 lobe piercing is $20
Our Piercing/Sterilization fee for the 2nd lobe is $10.
This brings you to a total of $30 for the piercing/sterilization fee.
The piercing/sterilization fee covers the cost of all the equipment that will be used during your piercing (sterile gloves, the piercing needle(s), non-sterile gloves, surgical prep, marking agent, sterile gauze etc). A new set up is used for each piercing, even on the same person.
Now you will select your jewelery.
If you select a set of 16g captive bead rings you will pay $10 for each ring, bringing your final total for two lobe piercings to $50.
If you select 14g labret studs you will pay $25 for each stud bring your final total for two lobe piercings to $80.
About our piercers:
Wendi
Wendi has been piercing professionally for 5 years and has been a full time piercer at the Lucky monkey for 3 years.
She has certification in industry specific bloodborne pathogens and infection control, AHA CPR/AED and Red Cross Adult First Aid.
Wendi has completed 1 year of HFCC's Surgical Technology program. She is currently working towards a degree in Cytotechnology. Her studies do not define her as a piercer but give her the upper hand in understanding sterile technique, wound healing and how certain medications/illnesses can affect the healing of a new piercing.
Wendi has also taken industry related classes in surface to surface piercing, genital beading and scarification. She continues her education in the industry by networking with other piercers and attending classes.
