On a 1979 Andalusian full moon morning she was born. Originally from Sevilla, Spain, Lucia Iman is an artist based in Los Angeles. Her singing and playing is described as powerful, intricate and entrancing and she’s often compared to Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones and Feist.
Raised in the musical environment of her father the renowned Spanish guitarist/composer Manuel Iman, Lucia has a background in Jazz from the legendary Berklee College of Music in Boston and Classical Music from the Royal Academy in Madrid, Spain. She has performed in venues of such stature as Carnegie Hall in New York and The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and regularly performs in the club scene all along California coast and nationwide in the US.
Lucia is a named one of Music Connection Magazine’s top 100 hot artists, who say "Lucia is an intriguing live act thanks to her natural talent. Lucia shows obvious promise and she is someone to keep an eye on."......................................................................................
She is currently promoting her self titled debut album by touring Europe this Spring, and she’s also working on her second album, a fan funded project through the website Sellaband.com in which fans and artists can be in business together.
