Louis Guidone (pronounced GiddOWN): Computer-based studio, various music software and virtual instruments, vocals, composing, arranging, engineering, mixing, remixing, recording, pre and post production, electric guitar and bass...
Influences
sensuality, sexuality, love, war, death, inner turmoil, angst, loneliness, depression, frustration, gossip, murder... your damn hatred, paranoia, and jealousy, the voices in my head, life experience...
I listen to electronic, experimental, sound collage, noise, techno, acid, industrial, synthpop, idm, ebm, new wave, good classic rock, Beethoven, gothic, gothic rock, and so on... and have for a long time. I especially like bands on the labels DSBP, Alfa Matrix, Wax Trax, Mute (Grey Area mostly), Van Richter, Primordial, 21st Circuitry, Factory, Cop International, Ras Dva, Antler Subway, Play It Again Sam, Solielmoon, Ant Zen, Noitekk, Dossier, and so on... as well as many right here on myspace and elsewhere on the web that are still unsigned either by choice or not.
People have asked me who some of my favorite bands are, so here's a few:
Diverje (TOMMY!), Leather Strip (CLAUS!), Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Recoil, Information Society, Pink Floyd, Human League, Talk Talk, Duran Duran/Arcadia/Power Station, Yaz, Skinny Puppy, Thomas Dolby, Big City Orchestra, Joy Division, Rozz Williams, Noisex (RAOUL!), Soft Cell, The Tear Garden, Cabaret Voltaire, Covenant, Kraftwerk, Front 242, TG, EN, Chris and Cosey, Din, Wire/Dome/Duet Emmo, Digital Poodle, Manufacture, Fad Gadget/Frank Tovey, Razormaid, Orbital, The Young Gods, á;GRUMH, Sloppy Wrenchboy, Foetus, Controlled Bleeding, Paul Barker, A Split Second, Moev, Ultravox, Visage, Gary Numan, Malign, Lustmord, Kompressor, Schaumgummi, ChemLab (JARED!), Clock DVA, TAGC, SPK, etc...
Sounds Like
Honestly, I hate the whole "sounds like" thing. Even when I am covering someone, I prefer to be ME, Louis Guidone.

BANDS TRYING TO ADD ME - SEND ME A MESSAGE FIRST. TOO MANY OTHERS USING BOTS, ADVERTISE ELSEWHERE.
The Great Gig In The Sky: In loving memory of Richard Wright, keyboard player of Pink Floyd, I have challenged myself and covered that song from "The Dark Side Of The Moon". You can hear a preview clip on Lastfm and you can also buy it on Snocap.
REST IN PEACE. ONE OF MY INSPIRATIONS.
"Think about death, think about horror, think about whatever, just go and sing".
MY FIRST 2 ALBUMS ARE OUT AND AVAILABLE ON SNOCAP
YOU CAN ALSO ORDER CD-R'S EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH MY WEBSITE
1. Work Hard - My cover of the Depeche Mode song from my album "Destruction Time Again", A Depeche Mode and Recoil tribute album.
2. Über Cyber Total Bullshit - My rant against the "corporate underground". IT IS AVAILABLE ON SNOCAP AS PART OF MY ALBUM "I GO ON WITH MY LIFE"
3. Stop Stalking Me - You know who you are. IT IS AVAILABLE ON SNOCAP AS PART OF MY ALBUM "I GO ON WITH MY LIFE"
4. LEATHER STRIP - My remix of ONE MORE REASON. It's the LOUIS GUIDONE LEGEND REMIX and not just because the samples are from the movie Legend, but because I remixed a legend!!!
5. Pull The Plug is not really about people trying to take over 'the scene' but I see how it could be misinterpreted that way, years after it was made, because there are too many egos out there. It's more about conformity in general. IT IS AVAILABLE ON SNOCAP AS PART OF MY ALBUM "I GO ON WITH MY LIFE"
6. r630 is a completely different version of r180. Somehow it morphed into a techno instrumental. Babble And Beat featured it on their webzine's music player April 2008. IT IS AVAILABLE ON SNOCAP AS PART OF MY ALBUM "I GO ON WITH MY LIFE"
r180 has been retired from this profile's music player with over 4,000 plays, but you can play it on my VampireFreaks player right on this profile!
My remix of New Order's Confusion has been moved to More 2.
I would like to thank PTYL for the opportunity to remix "Drag Dorks In Vampire Suits" and making it the web exclusive bonus track for Loki:God Of Change:The Remix Album. Exclusive is better than excluded. It has been moved to More 2.
YOU CAN STILL ADD IT TO YOUR PROFILES... OR GO HERE TO DOWNLOAD IT
INFORMATION SOCIETY have placed one of my remixes on their official website. Go give it a listen, and add their official myspace as well. I guess they like the way I "WERK IT"! I have been listening to them since Running, and I am honored.
My "chaotic" remix of INSIDE by NUDE can be heard HERE
Let me know if you need a remix. The blog explains more.
I use my real name and not some assumed name or alter ego taken from a comic book movie or trip to the hardware store, nor do I feel the need to publicly slander every asshole I ever communicated with, nor do I feel the need to remix everybody that asks me to, nor do I feel the need to come up with some bullshit bio - I started doing this AT SEVENTEEN FOR MYSELF. I don't generally hate, but my block list is probably bigger than yours. I do not use 'add bots' or accept every friend request or comment sent my way - yet 9 times out of 10, I will reply to your messages.... and I run my own profiles and website so you are speaking with me directly.
"You post alot of bulletins"
Well, there is a reason for that. Part of social networking is self-promotion.
If you think you own the world or a scene, I don't want your comments here... you do not own me or my friends. I have dealt with people much higher up on the food chain.
Your comments and add requests are appreciated. No free downloads, because they are killing the music industry.
