lonely ghost is an improvisational collective from Brooklyn, NY comprised of an electric bass, synthesizer, violin and morin huur, who create dense sound masses that float/force their way through soaring soundscapes, lyrical melodic interludes, impenetrable noise walls, and cascading rhythmic motifs. Each member of the band strives to play their instrument in ways so as to coax out the most unusual, unheard, and unidentifiable sounds that are to be expected from such an idiosyncratic line-up. All while chasing down sonic explorations just as invigorating to the group as the listener, occasionally leaving the audience perplexed as to who is contributing what to this sonic malestrom.
The band tears, wades, and glides their way through each set, exchanging ideas to the point of exhaustion, and conjuring up sounds that range from as gentle as freshly fallen snow to as terrifying as being hurled off a rocky cliff.
lonely ghost swells, breathes, fights and mends together, resulting in a unique blend of textured, dynamic, and easily-accessible free improvisation.

Hello! No, I did not forget about you. I see that Brooklyn is where all of the kool kats are nowadays. Well, I have some friends who live there so perhaps I actually will make it to your concert some day. I like all sorts of music, but I like your sound especially because you use a synthesizer! I see you have not had a post in a while. Well, here is a cool video for you to watch. See, they use the same synthesizer as you! I use the KORG R3 synthesizer, but I am still learning how to use it properly. I was able to make some really heavy industrial music with it and successfully did a cover of Terrible Lie by Nine Inch Nails. Well, keep on synthesizing that sound!
ah the dream work and all that crap, but will hold you too it if we ever do we could sort you out with at least 1 show if you came over here we're new to noise proper lovin this
