LoFT is a classic cover band with roots in both rock and blues. The band got together in 2003 when a few friends started jamming just for fun. Eventually they began performing at a variety of local venues and charity events. LoFT’s repertoire includes blues, classic and contemporary rock. The band has recently begun peppering their sets with some original songs. The first of these being “Make it All Right” written by Jeanene Hupy.
LoFT recently won the “Battle of the Ages” competition in Ridgefield, CT. They played to a sold out audience at the Ridgefield Playhouse competing against seven other bands. The competition was tight and the talent was strong. The judging panel, comprising professional musicians and on-air radio talent, declared LoFT the winning band.
LoFT brings high-energy instrumentals with vibrant vocals and harmonies to every performance. From the first note to the end of the performance, the audience is on their feet; singing, dancing and having fun … just like the band.
Here's a blurb in The Ridgefield Press about the ROAR Benefit (Woofs, Wines and Felines) that Loft performed at on June 7th:
