Linda Dominique Grosvenor at ThePluralThing.com's Interests
General
Fashion including A-list designers and also an interest in up and coming designers. I am smitten with the glam style of the 20's and anything vintage that translates well to the modern. Shoes are definitely my fetish--4 inch heels are my candy. Lip gloss and ruffle skirts too. I love all music personally, but lean toward the alternative and neo-soul sound. Art, television and movie making are interests as is learning to play the guitar. I'm currently toying with my first documentary. I would also love a small part in an indie film (just in case you're casting) I can play a barmaid and make a kick-butt Cosmopolitan.
Music
My favorites artists are Teena Marie, Prince, Maxwell, Wendy and Lisa, Jill Scott, Shu, Floetry, Marc Anthony and newly added Jamie Foxx, Kem, Kevin Max Smith, Alicia Keys and some popular music soundtracks.
Movies
I'm an 80s kind of girl so, some of my favorite movies are The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Flashdance, St. Elmo's Fire and some other favorites include Pretty Woman, Love Jones as well as Il Postino, Anti Trust, The Bridges of Madison County, What Lies Beneath, Unfaithful, A Walk on the Moon, The Notebook and City of Angels. Also, Underworld, Some Kind of Wonderful, The Italian Job, I Think I Love My Wife and X-Men.
Television
Veronica Mars, America's Next Top Model, The OC and Laguna Beach, The Bad Girl's Club and The Ghost Whisperer are some of my favorites. There are more but who has time to list them all? Besides everything I love gets canceled so half of these shows probably won't be on anymore by the time you read this.
Books
My favorites are Butterscotch Blues by Margaret Johnson Hodge, Anything by Pablo Neruda, Anything by Sonia Sanchez, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, Selah's Bed by Jenoyne Adams, Love's Reparations by Jackie Young and Waiting in Vain by Colin Channer. I'm currently reading Love by Leo Buscaglia. But the books closest to my heart are my own.
Heroes
My only hero is Jesus Christ, yet I've still met some very impressive people in my life.

About me:
Linda Dominique Grosvenor is a Bestselling Author and Relationship Expert affectionately known to many as Princess Dominique. She has been teaching both popular and aspiring authors how to promote their books for the past 10 years! She refers to herself as The Woman, The Celebrity, The Brand, because she believes that for someone who walked past blighted property and vacant lots on the way to and from school every day in the South Bronx, she is living proof that with faith and the favor of God there is nothing you can't do. Grosvenor made her foray into non-fiction with the inspirational smash hit The Plural Thing: Spiritually Preparing for Your Soul Mate. Her expertise on dating and relationship issues has been used in articles for publications such as Modern Bride, Jolie, Honey, Jewel and MORE Magazine. More like a chameleon, she is engaged to fashion, particularly vintage dresses or jeans and nostalgic tees with very high heels--three to four inches at best. She confesses that although she's genuinely smitten with fashion and studied a semester at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in the late 90's, the love of fashion is really just the anesthesia that helps her face the current state of fiction. A tireless advocate and student of Nyack College, Grosvenor founded the Love Better Camp a non-profit organization that is dedicated to boosting the self-esteem of young women and men from all walks of life in 2007.
The Plural Thing: Spiritually Preparing for Your Soul Mate (ISBN:0-9793660-9-7 | $19.95 | Princess Dominique Multimedia) is unadulterated, hard-hitting, tough-loving, no-nonsense truth. With Biblical principles, keen insight, self-disclosure and candidness Grosvenor provides guidance to those struggling with sexual soul ties, an adulterous relationship, low self-esteem and have resigned themselves to settling for second-best or are just in love with being in love and finally want the freedom to receive God's blessings for their lives.

If Adam had never sinned in the Garden of Eden, would he still have died? If death came by sin and Jesus Christ defeated sin on the cross, what happened to death? In I Curse Death, author Donnell Duncan boldly answers these questions and many more. The message is simple: man was designed by God to be immortal and only lost that gift by falling into sin. Duncan demonstrates with scripture that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ restored this gift to all those who believe..

Hey Linda, yeah I know it's been a long time for one of these messages... LOL! But like I said before if I've heard from you, you've heard from me... *smile* I've been going through somethings in my life and talking to others going through as well... and God just spoke a word to me... Hopefully if will help you as much as it helped me...
I was reading Joshua 24th chapter
God gave the people of Israel rest from all their enemies. In his farewell address, Joshua reminded the people of God's bountiful grace & mercy. He gave the Israelites command to help the avoid falling into most likely areas of temptation.
We must resist the temptation to sin and live in loving obedience to God.
Hold to His hand God's Unchanging Hand...build your hopes on things eternal... Hold to God's unchanging hand... I LOVE THAT HYMN! Do we find it hard to keep a grip on our day-to-day dependency on Christ? Or worse, have we lost our grip? When we feel we don't need to depend on Christ, we won't... Our natural tendency is to depend on self, not Christ. Depending on Christ is an act of the will by faith, not the natural reaction of our heart. God has the power to give us what we deserve, whether good or bad. I have come to fear, with reverence and awe, the God who is, for He is a consuming fire.
Have our abundant resources kept us form depending on God? have we lost our grip on God's help? Focus on a special need that only God can meet. Seek His help today and everyday...HOLD TO GOD'S UNCHANGING HAND!
Have a Blessed week & Father's Day! ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah... *smile*
We may have thought that it was MYSPACE that brought us together. For in many instances it was a divine connection, it was an appointment with time and destiny, and purpose. Whether you have prayed for me or I have prayed for you. There is a community of pray-ers on MYSPACE. And that is a good thing!!! Thank you for being in the right place at the right time. May God bless you and cause you to prosper.
Jer 29:11-13 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
