Jazz Express is a 20 piece big band. Highlights of this last year have been a Benefit Concert for the Jazz Society of Oregon held at Tony Starlight's Supperclub & Lounge. Great time! Other noteworthy events were a "Tribute to Gershwin Concert", and "An Evening With Vaughn Nark" (of the Airmen of Note) to benefit two Portland area homeless shelters.****Through this connection I have met many wonderful musicians, one of whom is Gordon McDonald, my Artistic Director and pianist.
