LilyWhite is the convergence of four roads that found Weston Hine (lead vocals and guitar), Garrett Hine (drums), Nick May (bass), and newly added Jake Bancroft (guitar). In a town where the music scene is more than humble, a formula bubbles in the cauldron of four beating rhythms working tirelessly to try and understand what music is meant to accomplish in man’s own heart. LilyWhite recklessly searches among gifts given for ways to convey the few truths that this world has to offer; love, God, and the frailty of the human soul. Thus has come the fruition of their new album aptly entitled “My Heart is Slowly Beginning to Work.” If LilyWhite had a time, it would most certainly be 2008. With the completion of their new record, the band once again pleads with you to join them in the struggle to relate truths to broken people. My Heart is Slowly Beginning to Work, because whether we know it or not, all anyone is ever trying to do is learn how to love people the way God does.
