Syntynyt 1975 Savonlinnassa. Asuu tällä hetkellä Tampereella.

Villen ensimmäinen sooloalbumi "Raastinlauluja" julkaistiin vuonna 1997
c-kasettina. Tätä kasettia saattaa vielä löytää sellaisten syrjäseutujen huoltoasemilta, jonne ABC-ketju ei ole vielä pystyttänyt viihdekeskusta.
Fonal Records julkaisi albumin myöhemmin cd:nä.

Toinen sooloalbumi "Suudelmitar" ilmestyi 2004. Albumi on musiikillinen etnografia suomalaisesta kesästä, kaukokaipuusta, unista, rakkaudesta...
|

Kolmas sooloalbumi "Hei!" ilmestyi 2007. Tällä levyllä kuullaan tulkintoja 70-luvun lopun iskelmistä, kotimaisista ja käännös-sellaisista.
|
|
Ville Leinonen & Valumo (1998-2006) toimi kaksituhattaluvun alussa Suomea konsertoiden. Poko Rekords julkaisi yhtyeeltä 4 studioalbumia, 2 live-albumia, sekä tuplakokoelman. Nykyään Valumo lepää kuohkeamultaisessa kehdossa.

Toukokuun lopulla 2008 ilmestyi Ville Leinosen Unilehto -kokoonpanon samanniminen albumi. Se on teemallinen kokoelma kansanlauluja ja muita kaikille suomalaisille yhteisiä koskettavia laulelmia.

Ville..s first soloalbum "Raastinlauluja" was released 1997 as a cassette, and later 2002 as a cd by Fonal Records.
Other soloalbums are "Suudelmitar" 2004 , and "Hei!" 2007, released by Poko Rekords.

During the years 2000-06 finnish recordlabel Poko Rekords released four studioalbums, two livealbums and a doublecompilation-cd of Ville Leinonen & Valumo, the rockband. Valumo..s music was a mixture of finnish rautalanka and tango, early Alice Cooper band, Spiders from Mars and french 70..s alternative popmusic. Valumo was born 1998, and it lived for eight years playing concerts around Finland. Today it..s dead and buried.

On the side of hundreds of troubadour- and bandgigs Ville has also played with different groups, like for example ES, Risto, Islaja, Teemu Elon Puhuvat Elaimet, Kiila, Office Building...
