The E.P. "Songs from the dinner table" was released in August 2006, additional musicians on it are Michiel Stam, Moss and the best pedalsteel player round here, Rob van Duuren.

But she also listens to: Tom Waits, Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, Feist, Django Reinhardt, Schönberg, Fauré, Moloko, Motorpsycho, Jeff Buckley.
In Leine's songs one discovers the influences of jazz and bossa nova from her childhood. Her warm jazzy voice creates an intimate atmosphere, using lyrics that express her amazement about this world.
Leine wants to touch the listener in her own charming way.
Leine started playing saxophone at the age of 11, and added the guitar when she was about 17. She combined forces with singer-songwriter Lotte van Dijck, and formed the duo Kirke (winner Grote Prijs van Nederland 1997). Until the beginning of 2005 she was hesitant to play her own songs live, insecure about wether they were good enough, and wether her selftaught guitar tunes would stand... But by winning a recording session with the Metropole Orchestra (NCRV's Ongekendtalent competition) and doing more and more solo live shows she overcame her stage fright. Nowadays she enjoys every minute of playing live, she was selected for the Dommelsch Locals Only Tour '07/'08, Popronde '07 and is winner of the Grote Prijs van Nederland 2007.
At the moment she is working on her second album, and a magical theatre show with famous Dutch poet Ingmar Heytze.
