Lawrence Letterday, a four piece pop punk band is a young band on the rise from Lawrence, Kansas. The band was formed in the spring of 2005 in the basement of drummer Isaac Flynn's house. (The members are Ben Kressig (vocals/ guitar) Zach Mehl ( lead guitar) Isaac Flynn (drums) and Matt Green (bass) a group of best friends, who when aren't playing music are usually hanging out and laughing at jokes that no one gets but them). After playing a few shows the band decided that it was time to trap themselves in a room and make some songs that were actually "good", over the summer the band tightened everything up, hit the studio and released a very well done ep titled "New Beginnings" (recorded by Nick Pickrell of Gametime). From that point on the band has been quickly making a name for themselves in the punk rock world. With their high energy songs, catchy guitars, great rhythm section, and in your face vocals, the band has started getting noticed by people all over.The band prides themselves on a fun, well put together high energy show that always involves the crowd. For these young "pop punks" the future is looking bright.
