© 2007 Lauren Anne Smith All Rights Reserved * * Hey y'all. My name's Lauren Anne Smith and I'm from Colorado. I was born on August 15th, 1988 so I'm twenty just so ya know. I've been singing since the age of four and writing since the age of twelve. It's just something I love. Currently I've written 67 songs. Not all are worth listening to, but most are pretty decent. The two songs above are a couple of my favorites that I've written. Hittin' the Pavement is about basically kicking Satan in the TEETH! We can't listen to the lies he whispers to us. "Must Go On" is a country style song about a wife losing her husband. He dies and she's learning how to keep going. Some other things I like to do are watch movies like Harry Potter, listen to ALL KINDS of music, read, graphic design, web design, etc. As you can probably tell, I'm a very artistic person and my interests are very limited to that area. I'm extremely RIGHT brained, which means, for those of you who don't know, is basically that it's the creative side, not the logical side. lol. Not to say I'm dumb, 'cause I'm not, but the majority of my thought is focused on creative things. I have a very loving family who always supports pretty much everything I do which is extremely nice of them. They have always been there for me and I hope they believe that I have always been there for them. My friends are mostly, and have been most of my life, guys. I feel girls are kind of vicious to eachother so that's why I don't hang out with them so much. I do have a few girl friends though who are very good to me and I love them dearly too. I would love to hear from you and the good thing is, I will most likely respond. Oh, btw, be sure to check out my website. I'm very proud of it. I will have my website up soon so keep checking for updates. My second album will hopefully be released hopefully this year so be sure to pick it up. I have a really good feeling about this one! *
