Evon 'Laza' Lazarus - Guitar and Vocals
Laza was born in St.Mary, Jamaica. He has been playing lead and rhythm guitars, bass and keyboards professionally for over 20 years. Laza is an equally valuable band member as both a lead and back-up singer. He is as capable guiding the melodic direction of a band as he is strong in standing foundation firm in the rhythm section. He moved to Tampa, Florida in 1987 where he established, owned and operated one of the most acclaimed reggae night clubs and concert venues in the southern U.S called Club Irie. He then moved to Toronto in 1997 where he has shared the stage with such artists as The Mighty Diamonds, Gregory Isaacs, The Melodians, George Nooks, Willie Williams and Sugar Minott, to name just a few. He has performed on studio recordings with a huge range of artists in numerous studios across North America and the Carribean from recording in Barbados with Eddie Grant to recording at Channel One in Jamaice, all the way to recording in Toronto's most popular studios (Wellesley, Slamm, Explorer and Halla music) with some of Toronto's most popular artists like Steele, Nana McLean, King Ujah and many, many more. He contributes to the band's vibes and reputation beyond any of his various musical roles by being dedicated, passionate about the music and unfailingly cheerful.This veteran of the global reggae community has the crucial ability and positive attitude you would expect from someone who has been on the a-list of both serious players and live bands on three continents.
LA ALLEN: Bass & Vocals, Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica. Started at a young age, Performing in Hotels, concert Venues and clubs in Negril & surrounding areas. La had toured extensively in the USA, Canada, Europe, Israel & the Caribbean with the Itals. He had performed at numerous reggae festivals in Jamaica, like Reggae Sunsplash, sting and Sunfest to name a few, Before migrating to Canada in 1995. Where he continue his musical journey.
