As always the Austrian-Swedish trio continue to thump synthesizers, comps and all sorts of different effects. And there is no lack of vocals - the fine voice of Kristina Lindberg blends in with dirty basslines, guitars and strongly distorted sounds.
The two remixes by “Transformer di Roboter” from Berlin and “Parov Stelar himself” make “Hem” an extremely entertaining 12" – a rough club-sound record to rock to.

As of December 12th 2007 our worldwide exclusive distributor Soulseduction filed for bankruptcy. Bad news that spread like wildfire and shocked the independent label scene.
This circumstance poses a massive financial threat to Etage Noir and numerous other record labels because the distributor acts as the main link between the label and the music consumer.
But for all that we have to keep our positive attitude and will go to any lengths to save our most beloved baby Etage Noir.
Therefore we offer you two label compilations for download exclusively from our website (http://etagenoir.com). These discs were originally scheduled to be released in March 2008. The music featured includes all time classics as well as brand-new and unreleased material.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the music lovers, DJs, journalists, radio stations and business partners for their massive support through all the years.
