   About la famille Catastrophe
La famille Catastrophe is the solo project of Simon from electro-indie-poppers mutt ramon. He has recently been joined on vocals by Emma from dance act moontown and on bass bv Tim in what some (but not many) have called Dorchester's first supergroup:

Simon recorded the 4-track debut "Voici... La Famille Catastrophe EP" which can be purchased from MyHoney Records (Italy) or Vollwert Records (Germany), or directly from us for £3.99 (inc. postage to anywhere in the world) by clicking on the Paypal button below:

voici

This EP includes tracks:

1) The Cafe Song
2) Happenings
3) Sunny Days
4) If You Called Me

Hopefully, another EP featuring all 3 members will be recorded soon.

A version of The Cafe Song also features on the Vol 8 Compilation from Series Two Records (July 2008):

vol8

LFC played as a 3-piece for Lostmusic Presents... at The Enterprise in London on 26th Sept 2008, as can seen here and on the Videos page:

Outside at the Enterprise, London

Theme Song at the Enterprise, London

Sunny Days at the Enterprise, London

Simon also played live as La Famille Catastrophe at Exeter Goes Pop! (Jan 2008), IndieTracks Festival 2007, and Mocophone (Sheffield, 2007):

I really like The Paolo Song- the tune and lyrics are sort of haunting. I think it would be even more effective if the recording was better, and more voices on the Doo Da Doo bits perhaps? Good track sir
