The members are : Jean Pierre Plisson (producer - composer - guitars), Maxime Plisson (lyrics - vocals).

La Caina is a passionate artistic fusion between a guitar player, music writer and producer and his daughter who is a singer and writer.

Jean Pierre Plisson, as a professional guitarist, has explored many music styles (from Blues to Jazz, as well as Pop-Rock, Jazz-Rock and Fusion). His long career journey has given him the opportunity to play with prestigious bands, leading him to build many friendships with some of the best French musicians, who can be heard now in La Caina’s music.

Maxime Plisson is a young singer, percussionist and song writer.

From an early age, Maxime developed a passion for Jazz and World Music. She moved to the USA then Mexico, where she honed her language skills.

In 2000, she joined the Salsa band Sandunga Latina and recorded the album “Salsa y ritmo calliente”. She worked on Afro-Cuban styles for 3 years within the group Batakin and learnt hundreds of songs. She then moved onto Cuba to get fully immersed into the spirit of the red hot Rumba Habana.

Two more trips to India broadened further her musical universe.

She also perform in several Parisian Jazz Clubs and is an official singer in the famous "Moulin Rouge" in Paris.
