Sounds Like
A million butterflies minced in a blender and spread on a slice of electric toast.
What is Plenum? It is the opposite of a vacuum. It is the space between the ceiling tiles and structural roof, where all the wires and ductwork are hidden. It is is a meeting of a legislative body in which all voting members are present.
The upcoming Plenum compilation album, Potluckin', is a collaborative exercise in the recording arts: a discrete assortment of independent musicians, songwriters, and poets blended into a seamless jambalaya of charming electronic-tinged pop, dance, and folk music. It is experimental, but unpretentious. It is well-crafted, but not overproduced. It is dedicated, but decidedly amateur.
please come play here! I love your music! We have very similar sound/ approach to recording. Your songwriting is very strong! I'll get you a show in Door County if you come up here. You'll make gas money at least
I love your sounds like description of your music. It's quite the visual. hahaha
I also love money changers. Really great production on that one. I love the sarcasm. Very straightforward song but decorated like confetti on a Sam Rockwell painting.
haha i'll do my damnedest! it's purdy damn dark right now though... no more sad songs! only sad lamps! i hope someday we can have another hootenanny... i know it's slightly premature, but maybe we can reunite mixtape! yeah! + thanks again for rocking to millionth degree + being so damn awesome!!! you, my friend, are bomb diggity!
Damn! I thought you moved to Chicago months and months ago, that's why i hadn't ever contacted you about recording when you mentioned it. Sometime after i finish what i'm working on now, if it's alright with everyone involved, I'll be more than happy to drive up to Chicago for a week and record, compensate you however i can. We'll talk when it's more realistic (when I'm done with the album(s) I'm doing now).
