It’s rare that musicians these days are able to claim ownership of a career spanning more than a decade, but Newcastle, NSW-based singer songwriter Kristy Coote can do just that.
Influenced by Ingrid Michaelson and Sheryl Crow, Kristy’s performed her brand of indie pop music on multiple continents, participated in star-studded co-writing sessions, produced a song reaching #1 on the Worldwide Independent Radio Network and two more included alongside John Butler’s works on the nationally distributed Home Grown Roots III compilation.Now rejuvenated after a brief hiatus, Kristy’s coming back for the next chapter, intent on “writing songs that inspire and connect with people in the good and bad times.”
