..The group Krandon takes its name from an ill-fated play that James Joyce began writing in collaboration with the noted physicist, Neils Bohr. The play was modernization of the Iliad, featuring a drunken scientist, Brandon Krandon, as Achillies. When the two authors were unable to agree on the proper modernization of the demi-god's singular weakness, the project was quickly abandoned and forgotten by history.
