knob, the hottest name of the Israeli dance floors in 2008, are Niv K and Meital. Niv K is the musical producer of the band, while Meital writes, composes and sings most of the songs.
knob started working together in 2005, producing and writing music for top Israeli artists. They sent their first song as a duo, I'm lost, to the intenational ISC competition, where they made it to the top 5 out of 15,000 participating songs. Without being officially released, I'm lost got virally spread and became a huge hit in Israel.
At 2006, knob signed with the music label TETA Making Music, and re-released the hit track with a shiny new production. The song took Israel by storm, topping radio station charts, downloaded to tens of thousands of mobiles. Four more singles were released before knob's debut album finally hit the stores at end of April 2008 - all of them chart topping, party banging hits.
