currently listening a lot to Meshuggah, Brazilian Girls, Mal Waldron,
Firesign Theater, A Tribe Called Quest, Boards of Canada, Jonathan

P.T. Anderson...other artists that kill me: Barnett Newman, R.W. Bowen,
David Lynch, Mike Nichols, Altman
UPDATE: Hi folks, the other guys in the Trio of Mass Distraction let me get my hands on some of our fresh tracks recorded in LA last month, and I'm now at home in the Bay Area messing around with that shit on my computa... Please check out the samplers above: "Trio of Mattress Traction," "Bluesy in the Jacuzzi," and my personal fave, "Overhead Cam" (guitarist Cameron Morgan is particularly blazing on this one, I think, so I took the liberty of naming it that, even though it's based on a lick he came up with in the studio). Now, for the usual
bio: I have played gigs with artists such as Kirk Whalum, Link Wray, Ronald Shannon Jackson, Jim Weider's Project Percolator, Jimi Tunnell, Reverend Jeff Mosier, Bernard Wright from Marcus Miller's band, Peter Kater, Dave Valentin, Mike Travis from String Cheese, Ross Martin, Fareed Haque, Joel Rosenblatt, Stanley Jordan, Claudia Acuna, Jason Lindner (now w/ Meshell Ndegeocello), Dave Johnston from Yonder Mountain String Band, Vince Herman from Leftover
Salmon, Henrique de Almeida, members of the Motet, Linda Eder, Jill Sobule, David Wilcox, Nelson Rangell, Eric Marienthal, Benevento/Russo, Dori Caymmi, Donald Barrett (drummer w/ Seal, Josh Kelly, Jesse McCartney),
and members of Kneebody, and my recording credits include CD's with
Rob Mullins, Peter Kater, and Curandero. I have released three CD's:
1994's "Cool Grooves" on Fahrenheit Records was listed on that year's Grammy voter ballot; "Sightings," from 1999, was featured on a Bassics Magazine CD compilation; and a project entitled "Deux" with Brazilian drummer Henrique de Almeida, author of "Brazilian Rhythms for Drumset", available on Carl Fisher. Most recently, I have recorded an electronica
collection on my home recording rig entitled "Chillcrazy"... I am now living in the San Francisco Bay Area, eager to meet like-minded musicians. I work with a band called "Trio of Mass Distraction" featuring drummer Adam Gust
and guitarist Cameron Morgan (from Steve Perkins' Banyan). Video
clips can be seen below:

Your new profile picture is inspiring me to replace mine with an Atari system. Please, where is your beautiful face? Let's mush to AK listening to The All Nighters from Bellingham, WA. Their hit album, DRINK THE NIGHT, will be one of extreme delight and jubilation to be had by all.
