King Solomon’s Marbles, hailing from Richmond, VA, is dedicated to paying homage to the extensive catalogue of the Grateful Dead.
Taking a cue from the Grateful Dead's unique and eclectic style, which fuses elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, country, and jazz, KSM creates their own live performance of Dead tunes, each one unique, resulting in an unforgettable experience for the show-goer, also known as the Deadhead.

Celebrating 15 years together in 2013, The “Marbles” have been a staple in the live music scene in Richmond, VA, while holding a monthly residency at Cary St Café. King Solomon’s Marbles has shared the stage with such bands as Jerry Garcia Band, Jerry Joseph, and Strange Design. They even had the Grateful Dead’s own Tom Constanten (T.C.) jam with the band back in 2003. Constanten remarked to the guys at the time, "That's the first time I've ever played ‘Jack Straw’ as I'd left the Dead by then…". A more recent endorsement comes from a long-time fan; “Wow! They never stopped rockin’ til the moon went down!”

After 15 years, the Marbles continue to recreate that synergy between band and audience through their own expression of those famous lyrics, the beautiful melodies, and the soul thumping rhythms. Just like the Grateful Dead, you can only know the enchantment of a King Solomon’s Marbles live show by experiencing it for yourself.
