KilkennyMusic.com is Kilkenny's leading online music resource, an independant online community of some of the most talented artists the country has to offer. You can avail of free profiles, getting your music live to the masses, keep track of whats going on around Kilkenny and all the usual craic.
KilkennyMusic.com was launched online on September 19th 2005 and since that date has grown in number, producing over 30 live gigs in 2006 and more through 2007 and launching a number of other musical ventures. The One Take Sessions (MySpace | Website) is one such venture, a free series of acoustic gigs run every third Thursday in Kilkenny City. We also host monthly live gigs which in the past have featured the likes of The Guggenheim Grotto, Clergy, New York Fashion Week, Waiting To Explode, Myp et Jeep, Laminate, The Happy Medium, Itchy Trigger Finger, The Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, Innate, Frantic State, Vesta Varro and lots more bands besides.
2-3 times a month we also release the Sound System Podcast featuring coverage of the One Take Sessions, our monthly gigs, interviews and round table chat.
