We were an/the entity (4). A living, breathing creature. A beast, and a boy, a man and his monsters. We love music. That is an understatement. We live with music in our veins. Our hearts weave the tapestries of creation. We were conceived in the summer of 2003 when we met at Soundwall Music Camp at UC Santa Cruz. Dear sweet irony! Since the moment of our conception, we have attempted to make our mark on the East Bay music scene by creating our own original brand of music. In the summer of 2006 we took our creation to the road and went on tour for the first time. Since then, we have spent much time perfecting our old compositions as well as writing some new ones. We are, however, not as we stood on that open road. We lost a dear friend, and member to this entity, and although it was difficult, it was an important step in our progression.
WHAT WE WANT(ED) TO DO
Our goal is to create music that changes the way people feel about music. We say with the utmost certainty, “We are not in this to get girls, We are not in this to put up the façade that we are in a band, and We are not in this band to become famous” (Repeat). We want to open the ears, eyes, hearts, and minds of you, the music connoisseur, to the broad spectrum of musical creation that lies beneath the every-day and the ordinary. Quite frankly, We are in this for the furtherance of great creation. That is the reason we continue to make and play music together. We simply have an overwhelming desire to create something all our own. Though we were but children when we started this project, we are no longer kids, in a sense.
