THE KICK-ASS
COMIC-BOOK IS COMING
Mark Millar (the writer of Civil War and The Ultimates) is doing a comic-book about me with Marvel's greatest artist John Romita Jr (World War Hulk and Amazing Spider-Man). This is a great honor for me because I have read and loooooooved comic books since I was five years old. This book will be released by Icon Comics in February. I hope you like it. The picture on the top left of the page is the promotional image and first cover. For an art preview of some of the pages John Romita Jr has in development please click here. More visuals will be available as we get closer to the launch date and there is talk of a big launch party too.
KICK-ASS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
The youtube video you can see copied here was taken in a supermarket car park after I helped someone who was being mugged. Someone recorded this on their phone and one of my new fans turned this into what looks like a trailer. I hope you like this too. If anyone has any more footage of me please link it here. But I am not doing this to be famous. I accept no money for helping people. I am a comic-book fan just trying to make a difference. Why don't you try it too?
Who I'd like to meet: If you are a fellow crime-fighter please join my group and maybe we can all have a team-up sometime. I am also a MASSIVE comic-book fan so any comic-pros or fans are especially welcome to join. Use this as a means of promoting your own book perhaps so others can see it. Whatever, I am here because I want to help and make a difference.
Kick-Ass is the best comic I have ever read!!!! Have 3 copies of every issue and the directors cut varient issues! Wicked psyched for the next one to come out!
Kick-Ass the is best new comic of 2008, without a doubt! The issue #1 Director's Cut is amazing, by the way and well worth the money. I've included Kick-Ass in my bi-weekly 'reviews' and my first "Issue of the Week" bulletin. Fellow fans feel free to add me.
Kick-Ass has been optioned for a movie!!! I'm so happy! PLEASE don't let Hollywood fuck it up!!! If Kick-Ass's wetsuit has nipples, I'll be forced to violence!
I've been spending tons of money at my local small comic shop, the guy there said I would love this book so I bought the first two issues and he gave me the third for free. This is how big people are supporting it, and you know, he was right, I thought it was bitchin'; fresh bitchin'.
I kick ass a little myself, keep me in mind for the stunt double in the movie.
