About me:
Hello and thanks for looking me up.
I was born in Augusta, GA on Fort Gordon. My dad was drafted during the Vietnam War and remained in the service for 20 years as we moved through GA, MD, OK, MA, KY/TN, WILDFLICKEN and HEIDLEBURG Germany, MS, and then FL. When we lived in Germany, I discovered short wave radio, no surprise since we only had one Armed Forces TV station and one radio station! It wasn't until we came back to the US in 1981 that I was able to get my first ham ticket. We lived in Biloxi, MS on base and my novice call was KA5QCI. After high school and college (Ole Miss and FSU) I was unable to remain active. But, a few years ago I got re-licensed. Now I am KG4BNP. I am still a CW operator and can be found on 30m and the 40m novice sub-band. I do a lot of work with: HF DX, FM Oscars and all digital modes. I am willing to Elmer anyone who might need help and is willing to be helped.
