I still find this hard to believe, but I'm a journalist and novelist.
Last September I gave up my job to write full time, and since then I've had a number of articles published in national magazines and there are more on the horizon.
I've recently finished my first novel for young adults (not the first I've written, but the first I've finished) and signed with a fab agent. You can read the first chapter here.
