About me: Keep Arts in Schools believes that every child is entitled to a well-rounded education. This involves a strong arts education and arts-integrated curriculum. It's important for public schools to recognize the intrinsic value of the arts (visual, performing and literary). But it's equally important to understand that the arts, when combined with the standard subjects, creates a dynamic learning environment.
As the next generation enters an increasingly global workforce, they need the skills and the resources to become creative and critical thinkers with strong leadership skills.

Having you with me is indeed a pleasure, as I feel it is a TERRIBLE thing to not teach art to students, as this is such a 'beautiful' way for people to express themselves, and DOES bring people of the world together!
Since time immortal, humans have found various ways to communicate. With the advent of art and writing, civilization as a whole has grown and expanded in knowledge. If it were not for art and the written word, we would know so little of the various cultures before us, and it is imperative that we too, leave our ‘footprint in the sand’ of history today, enabling future generations to know and understand us.
I do hope you and your friends will visit me at my site, where I feature some of the most celebrated, avante garde artists, producers, and writers of the 20th and 21st centuries.

I would personally like to commend 'Keep Arts' for their efforts to keep arts in schools. Art education is more important than most ppl realize as the arts is the voice of the culture and the culture is what makes a nation.
