Skillfully combining club-you-over-the-head hooks with a refined sense of groove, THE MUMBLES know how to craft a song. Their powerhouse live show has been compared to "...a set of brass knuckles wrapped inside a veggie burrito".
Singer/songwriter Keith Burnstein's interest in keyboards began at age 5, when he decided that the low notes on his family's upright piano sounded "like Frankenstein". He continues in that tradition to this day, executing his "soulful dissonance" on Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and melodica.
Ethan Shorter is an accomplished drummer (and avid Red-Sox fan) who likes to hit stuff---hard. His is a foundation of rhythmic innovation; the cement, gloss, and cherry on top that'll send your senses into blissful overload. His most recent musical matriculation took place at NYC's prestigious Drummer's Collective, where he studied the techniques of world-renowned master drummer, Jojo Mayer.
THE MUMBLES are currently finalizing dates in the Northeast US and Canada for the remainder of their Status Whoa tour. Look for their new CD release "Snippin the Bonsai" - available on Cd Baby now:

hey guys! thanks for the add request, and for checking out my music on here! just in case i didn't send this to you, here is the banner for my new record "Hold the Sun", which is on iTunes and also my website.
when you asked for 3 or 4 bucks for your new EP, i gave a tenner to the cause. you guys put on a great show, very impressive all around, and nice songwriting to match. loved your performance!
I think you guys should put more effort into the 6-7 year-old urban child demographic. Frequently overlooked. There's already some buzz about you among them, I've heard the terms "rock star" and "great artist" thrown about. Plus! expendable allowance. Come on!
